September we brought you Michael Ingram’s rousing lyrics. This October 20, we have the wit of John MacDonald, a long time member of the DC Poetry Project and participant in PK’s Writers on the Green Line Workshops. John has put together a great show, which includes a Choral Presentation of several of his poems.

DSC_0854October’s classical poetry performance will be Robert Michael Oliver delivering poems from his A POETIC SPIRITUALITY repertory: poems include “An Ode to a Nightingale” by John Keats, “Tyger” by William Blake, and “Because I Could Not Stop for Death” by Emily Dickenson.

The Open Mic has been expanded, so bring your poems, short short stories, and songs.
