Wow!
It has been a fabulous final month with Mementos.
Michael Ingram and I have had an incredible time with our poets as they prepared for their filming and their live performance.
Then we had the final Celebration of Poetry on September 26. What a show!

Then, the videographer Chad and I had an intense and productive two weeks editing the film, deciding on the story line and the chapter headings. Before all that, Aashish and I worked through the poets’ individual films, with direction and editing, and with Chad doing the camera work. I’m happy to say that all the film projects have come out nicely.
Pat Kelly’s That First Ride
A very satisfying month it has been. I hope you enjoy some of the pictures from the event and soon the videos will be available for viewing. We hope to be continuing with the workshops at Sarah’s Circle in November. Of course, funding is always an issue, but with a worthy project like Mementos how can the DC Commission for the Arts and Humanities turn us down. Will keep you posted.
