One of The Performing Knowledge Projects most innovative and exciting workshops is Mementos: Poetry and Performance Workshops for Seniors. We just concluded its pilot project offered at Sarah’s Circle Senior Center. Check out our video of the project.
In this workshop facilitators meet with a Senior Center’s participants two times a month to develop and share memoir poems. Each workshop series ends with a poetry celebration. In preparation for that celebration each participant creates a video edition of their poems.
